CHIEF WEB DEVELOPER

TowerCare Technologies has a unique opportunity for a skilled and ambitious senior-level Web Developer in our Wexford, PA office.

The successful candidate will join our close-knit team of Java and HTML Developers and lead the development of our next generation of web-based applications. Development Team members work a combination of in office and remote work schedules.

Our customers serve philanthropic missions around the world. In this role, you will enhance their ability to raise funds, plan and execute events, manage daily operations, and in short – make a difference.

We require expert knowledge in all aspects of HTML/RIA development, strong knowledge of XSLT, and layout and design (CSS Positioning). In addition, we seek high skill levels in client-side JavaScript (such as AJAX or equivalent) and frameworks (such as Jquery).

Preferred requirements are: Experience with Drupal and PHP; a good understanding of HTML5/RIA concepts such as Local Storage and Server-Sent Events; a strong understanding of Human Factors Engineering principles; and experience developing for multiple form factors (standard browsers, tablet browsers, and mobile phone browsers).

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, minimum of 5 years of development experience in a dynamic, innovative environment, and exceptional communication skills.
